Kanye West Vs 50 Cent

Rap has became a competition. This was proven by artists Kayne West and 50 Cent ( Curtis Jackson). They both had thier set days to release there new albums on the same day, Kaynes album Graduation and 50's album Curtis. Before the CD's even we're released there was tons of controversy. Rollingstone magazine both featured these 2 artists face to face, fist to fist at each other for a pose, on talk shows they talked about each other, rather then talking about there own albums. At the MTV awards they presented an award together, it didn't make much sense. 50 Cent also said in an interview that he would retire if he didn't sell any more then Kayne, which he cleared up a week later said he would just leave his label Interscope. After the first week Kayne sold 957,000 copies, and 50 cent had only sold 691000 copies. Clearly Kayne won, if you wanna call it that, I don't know why they looked at it as a competition anyways.
